Mike Isaak is a landscape photographer and carpenter apprentice born in Altona, Manitoba, currently based in Edmonton, Alberta.

He became interested in photography after buying his first camera for a missions trip to El Salvador in March 2005.

Once introduced to a DSLR a couple years later, his interest in photography started to become a passion.

Mike is self-taught from reading books and online articles. Learning from other photographers, he has met through online forums, he continues to learn and grow as a photographer.

Mike loves to spend time in the mountains, camping and hiking, enjoying nature from the smallest bugs, to the many different wild animals and landscapes the world has to offer.
