The drive to get here was mostly highway except the last 1.5km, which was a mix of mud and gravel. For a semi-arid climate, it sure was wet out there. Everywhere I stepped was so slippery and my boots ended up caked in mud. My tripod saved my from falling on my face and also ended up covered in mud. I started shooting here at 5:22pm and stopped shooting at 12:32 in the morning. The weather here was cloudy and rainy at first, then started to clear. The clouds made a lot of interesting formations the whole time I was shooting, and came up with a bunch of different compositions.
