Ice Cracks

Abraham Lake, Alberta.

Ice formations on Abraham Lake from Preachers Point, Alberta. The lake fills up during the summer months and then during the winter, it is slowly drained to power the Big Horn Dam. As the lake is drained these magnificent ice cracks form along the edges of the shoreline, making for dramatic foreground compositions.
