Bow Lake

I got to this location early on a Saturday morning of the May 2010 long weekend, and slept in my car to wake up for sunrise the next morning. I was not anticipating this much snow to still be here or for the lake to still be frozen. Scouted around a little in the early morning and found this spot where a stream was trickling into the lake. Sunrise did not produce and colors at all and this photo was looking pretty dull. So I converted it to B+W using Nik Silver Fx. This is a stitch of two vertical photos and then cropped to a square.
