Another long break from posting. But this time I am happy to say that Anna and I bought a condo, and we’re almost settled in. Sure feels nice to break away from paying rent, and own something of our own.
Here’s another image from our time in California. It was a challenge to try and keep the tripod pressed deep in the sand so it wouldn’t move as the waves came towards me, trying to take the sand out from under my own feet as well as the tripod. I would recommend using a cheaper tripod for coastal photos, unless you really enjoy totally dismantling and cleaning the entire unit after taking your shots for the day. Not a lot of fun when you’re usually getting home, or to where ever you’re staying, late after sunset and having to then clean out your tripod.
The silhouettes from the rocks and glow in the sky, combined with the waves rushing towards me, really caught my eye.
