Driving home I saw some mist coming up from the creek in this photo. This is an experimental shot/photo manipulation. The moon was not in the frame at all, it was about 45 degrees to the right of the direction of this shot. I did some research on how to properly insert the moon without having it look fake. So you’ll have to excuse my poor Photoshop skills (or lack of!). I’ll have to come back to this location for the real thing but I thought the photo would look cool like this. Gave it a slight blur for a painterly effect. There was lightning in the pink clouds on the right but the long exposure did not capture any of it, next time! And this is where I think I left my tripod. On the side of the road, so I hope some farmer is happy with a relatively new Manfrotto tripod!

Very nice!
Thank you!
Sturgeon river between St. Albert and Namao? Sure looks familiar.
Nope! A little farther east then that 🙂
This is just north east of Vegreville, you’ve probably driven past it. It’s just north of the Brush Hills church.
