This photo was taken after all the color had disappeared from the sky. I found these two shells that had washed up on the beach, just waiting for something to be done with them. I knew right away that I wanted to process this in black and white, and the shells would contrast well with the “island” so I snapped a few photos. This was the one I liked the most.
If you follow my page/group on Facebook you will know that I’ve been slowly shifting over to my newly created Facebook page. I invite you all to click the “like” button as I will no longer be updating the group page once it is archived.
Contest
And now onto the contest details. As most of you know, I really don’t come up with anything fancy when it comes to naming my photos. (What can I say, it makes for easier organization!) So here is your chance to put your own mark on one of my pieces of work. Come up with any name for this photo and then email me (mike.isaak@hotmail.com) with the subject “photo contest” up until the deadline of June 1st, 11:59pm (Mountain Time). I will then narrow down the selections in the following days until I am confident I have a winner! The person with the winning name, will receive a signed 12×18 fine art paper print of this very photo. Good luck, and have fun!
